The Return of the Elizabeth Dane?
Three years ago, in New Jersey, I spotted a sailboat or an old-looking clipper ship, making its way on the fog-strewn Hudson River. I suspected it might be the long-lost Elizabeth Dane. That day, in Riverdale, I made another possible sighting.
If it was the Elizabeth Dane, I got to see it in the bright sunshine with its sails raised. It was, once again, heading north. This time, it also towed two empty rowboats.

I Hope That's Not the Elizabeth Dane
Out of the dense fog and hard rain, I spotted what looked like a sailboat or an old clipper ship. It moved upriver quite slowly.
I hope it wasn't the long-lost Elizabeth Dane.
